The Haut-Richelieu commissioned Compo-Haut-Richelieu develop the plan of waste management for the Haut-Richelieu in accordance with the Act on Environmental Quality (RSQ c. Q-2). The Minister of Environment, Mr. Thomas Muclair, issued a notice of compliance in terms of waste management submitted by the MRC.
